When I was in Tulsa a friend gave a guy a case of road rage on a turnpike. The guy followed him so he pulled into a convenience store parking store within sight of a PD station.

Road rager got out the car containing his wife and baby boy with a machete in hand. My friend nearly lost his left arm at the elbow but still spent 4 weeks in the hospital. Road rager was in custody before the ambulance could load friend up.

Pick your battles very very carefully. The "immortality of youth" mindset makes the funeral industry quite wealthy.
