I love that none of the info posted has given you any pause. You will, at the very least, have stubbornness in common with your new pet.
Lol. I forgot about having to wipe warm gooey fresh sh!t off its @ss every time it craps.
Oh. Also. They are v dominant dogs. So they will get along great if you have young kids!!!

Get ready to know your vet well.
I've got a five year old, he's in good health overall but there was always something in the first few years. Watch her eyes. They commonly get a situation where the bottom of the eyelid turns inside toward the eye and the hairs scratch it.
Also, consider a palate reduction when you get her fixed. It's not a lot of money extra and helps with breathing issues down the road. They can do it with lasers now, making it a quick and relatively painless recovery.
Keep the nose wrinkle clean.
Yeah, you'll have vet bills, but they are absolute clowns. Endlessly entertaining. Your family will fall in love.

There's a reason I said "relative".

The Merle bulldogs with giant nose ropes do tend to have more health problems. They've been inbred to achieve the coloring and the wrinkles. They are known to have various joint problems as well. I have a brindle English and he's more of a traditional look. He and Jak(the MSU bulldog) look very similar. I'm actually good friends with the lady that Jak came from.
That being said, they all seem to have personality traits that only Englishes have. They constantly lean on things, have to have their heads propped in your lap, chew things they aren't supposed to, but dadgum do I love mine.

Be prepared to ball your eyes out 8 years from now when you can't spend $5 or $10 thousand dollars on surgery and you have to put her down because she can't move.

Get the elevated food and water bowls. Helped with both the water all over and also the farting. Our vet recommeded a little nasal opening procedure that helped our guy breath alot easier and the snoring decreased dramatically. Get ready for frustrations on the house breaking with a girl. Night and Day difference for us between our boy and girl. As mentioned watch around water. If around water have a life jacet for them. They can destroy almost everything. Only thing that we have found to make it is one of those soft rubber bones that has the tubes inside that make a crunching noise. Get either the Royal Canine Bulldog specific or Blue Buffalo for food. By far the best dogs ever. They are funny to watch and everyone loves them. Teach her early not to jump up on people though cause we didnt with our boy and now that he is 65# he will bout put you on your arse when he jumps up on you. Get ready for fur to be everywhere also. They shed like no tomorrow. Be careful not to over bath. It actually makes it worse. Keep folds and ears clean and you should have no issues. Best of luck and share some pics when you get her.
Sounds like a ball of fun

Mine is currently 9 and has been a great pet with very little health issues other than seasonal allergies. She loves to swim. If you teach them when they are young it’s a great form of exercise that they can stay cool doing.
I’ll second what someone else said, get a Roomba

Subtle I paid $1,500+ for a dog brag.

Don’t listen to all these people that will drop 50k plus on a truck, but will give people life lessons on how to spend your money on a pet.
I’ve had champion Sheppard’s and rots, he’s up there with all of them. They do have heath issues, but buying a quality dog is key.

Buying a bulldog is almost exclusively reserved for people who want to be seen with it. Zero financial thought is put into it. So that’s a pretty good comparison.
