I have a spanish cedar door that I need to get replaced. Does anyone have a recommendation of a good custom door shop around Baton Rouge? The weather has destroyed my door over the last 18 years.

T&L Forest off of Siegen. It's a millworks shop. They made me a double arched wooded door several years ago. Great work, fair price.

I'm just taking a wild guess but I'm thinking $5,000. I really have no idea. It's a 32x94 and Spanish Cedar so it could be more or less. Who knows.

I actually like to get recommendations from people who have used various companies and either liked them or hated them. This is normally how trade work is evaluated. I'm currently trying to get the "I loved them" companies. I can't trust a review who was possibly written by the owners best friend

In 2018, I had a custom made iron gate 32x94 that the blacksmith custom made, powder coated and included a mechanical marine grade lock. he delivered it and Installed it. Total bill was $ 990. The gate will last forever.

To even consider $5000 for Spanish Cedar is absurd.

Iron last forever. Spanish cedar life is less than 18 yrs.
