OP,

Text your ex and let her know that youre sorry for what happened. Text her that logically its not a good idea for that to happen.

Then text her that you want to take bourbon shots off her snatch and put it in her butt tonight and make her scream.

Maybe yes, Maybe No, that's why he needs to get off the internet and talk to a lawyer.

In every deposition I take these days I ask if people have posted about their case online.

Well, the "clock" starts over as far as the date of separation/divorce. So today's date will now become the new start date ONLY if you leave her place today.

This post is proof and your attorney won't/can't support perjury by letting you lie on the stand.

Who filed? Seems like your desperate and trying to get her back and you came hear to make yourself feel better about begging her cheating arse back.

Really? This is usually the second thing people ask when I tell them about a divorce.

You know this can absolutely be considered reconciliation if challenged. He's been staying there! He's having sex. It's public knowledge!

It's over, date starts today IF he leaves. Obviously he doesn't want a divorce

It absolutely could be. Which is why he needs to stop talking about it.

I guess what I mean is "stop helping this man dig his own grave"

It depends. If she cheated on you and that was the grounds for the divorce then it could be considered reconciliation and nullify the infidelity grounds. I think.

Why? It's 100% true.

I have sat through countless divorce confirmations and one of the questions (either by the attorney, or the JUDGE) is have the parties reconciled at any point since the divorce was filed. Unless someone's going to perjure themselves, that answer will be YES and if that was within "file then wait" or "wait then file" delays, no divorce.

If you've been around the court room you know that Judges are going to have their own opinion on this term. We don't know enough to know what the judge will say, which, again, is why he needs to consult with his attorney and not the OT, which is all I have been trying to say this entire thread.

No, courts consider resumption of normal sexual relationships as the reset button, or if you try to go to counseling together. Then that throws all prior grounds or infidelities out the window. A random one night stand doesn't do this. If OP were to resume normal sexual relations with his wife, then that is where reconciliation comes into play in the eyes of the court. That is what my divorce attorney told me.

My brother divorced his wife about 20 years ago. After a short time she moved back in and now they get along fine. Sometimes it happens.
