Back in the day, we would get an hour of comp time if you remained at your desk, answered the phone, i.e. worked. Management cut that out but I would still eat at my desk. If the phone rang (no caller ID back then), I answered and kept chewin my food. 
Now, with caller ID, I just don't answer unless I want.

I work 50-60 hour weeks and eat lunch at my desk while working basically every day.
