I just got word that Jeff Parish Eastbank may shut the water off in certain areas

It must be pretty bad out there. My boss owns a couple of businesses, including a restaurant. Kenner officials told him that the Water dept may be shutting the water completely off for repairs. Make your preparations now. Fill a bathtub full of water so you have water to flush toilets.

Sounds like they didn't drip the faucets.

Happens all the time up here. They usually have water back on within 2 hours.

My office is in Elmwood - we’ve been without water all day.

my aunt's surgery at Ochsner has been on delay all day long due to the water situation. New Orleans is so rad.

Office buildings that run water to multiple places will likely not be able to pull water throughout with as low as the pressure is currently

We're on boil advisory too. Just checked the pressure and temperature in our office shower (which I just discovered) so I'll be coming back later tonight to use that. And keeping my mouth closed.
