I don't remember that. Remind me?
I said even Dems are scared of the NRA, which means there is no chance of Congress ever doing anything gun wise, even if they take over congress.
Meanwhile y'all will scream and shout like Chicken Little, that the sky is falling on your 2A rights, and nothing will happen.

If anyone tells me I can't carry my weapon:

I do not carry, but have thought of taking the class. I work in a de freestanding ERs which have a couple of narcotics that everybody wants. So there is a security issue. At times we have an HPD guy in uniform as a side job. Problem solved.
Other nights there can be issues. I am not allowed to carry on hospital grounds. Some are hospital based some are privately owned. I've already seen one doc with my own eyes moving his carry gun around in his bags in his room. I just chuckled when he gave me a look.
The situation in this narrative should be most narratives. Pulling a gun is no fricking joke. I know I am stating the obvious here. If I decide to carry, I will carry. Nobody will know about it. Worst of all case scenario I have to draw a weapon or fire? I do so knowing that I have lost my job, and may have a charge coming. But in the scenario, I don't care. Because I genuinely thought I was going to die or my coworkers were. If I am in a situation where I feel that way? I'm looking for employment elsewhere anyway.
Again, we are talking last resort, oh god I may die. Type of situation. I will have a nice holster of some type or a nice work bag.
I am one of your more liberal gun people. I would need someone to break down for me what is the outrage.

If its a constitutional right to conceal carry, why do I have to pay for that right in the form of a license or permit?
What other constitutional rights do we have to pay for?
I don't know of any, which means it isn't one.
