A divided 9th Circuit Court of Appeals said that local law enforcement officials can place significant restrictions on who is allowed to carry concealed guns.

By a vote of 7-4, the court upheld a California law that says applicants must cite a "good cause" to obtain a concealed-carry permit. Typically, people who are being stalked or threatened, celebrities who fear for their safety, and those who routinely carry large amounts of cash or other valuables are granted permits.
"We hold that the Second Amendment does not preserve or protect a right of a member of the general public to carry concealed firearms in public," Circuit Judge William A. Fletcher wrote for the majority.

I carried before it was legal, I'll carry again if I feel the need.
No change here.

These "good cause" restrictions will eventually make it to SCOTUS. Just not confident they will get it right.

I'm sure this case is on the fast track to the US Supreme Court. It'd be nice if the Court had 9 Justices to decide it.

i mean reallyzz who worries about this shite lol. Its against the law to carry in theatres, and ive been doing it for years. Stores have their cute little signs... omg is that going to stop me? big freaking deal about some dumb vote. Carry whenever and wherever you want people. Its better to have it when you need it.

DC circuit just ruled exact opposite

Just more reason to vote for Trump so Hillary does not appoint to the court the member(s) that will hear the appeal.

So how a citizen "feels" determines if they can CC or not?
Well I "feel" as though I might need to protect myself one day.

I "feel" the same way. I don't understand the people that have carry permits but don't carry. Too much crap going on nowadays. I am not going to get caught in one of those shooter situations without a means to defend myself.

Reminds me of the two SU gals who got killed near Ben Hur this year. Ballistics appear to show that the bullets that killed them were not fired by the drive by shooter, which leaves only the guy who shot back to "protect" people.
