I was just now told that I can't day drink at the parade and that I was not allowed to drink much at the event. I'm not a heavy drinker anyway but it's St. Patrick's Day in Baton Rouge, one of the only days it's acceptable to be drunk all day and night. This blows, I've been planning to be blackout because I don't get many opportunities anymore to do that at my age.

Why is sobriety necessary? Is this a baptist formal?

Sounds like a great time to get the flu or have a meeting out of town.

What does "not drink much" at the event mean?

The chick told you this?
