Might be staph. People commonly get staph on the nose because they pick it after touching things like door knobs and such.

Bingo on the staph, use neosporin for three days twice a day and it will disappear. Bactroban (mupirocin) is better but prescription only and neosporin has basically the same properties

People here don't seem to understand this is not something you have to catch from someone. Most people have it but it is dormant and just pops up one day usually in childhood. So watch what you say because you could have one pop up on your lip tommorow.
