I drink beer because I like it - and I drink it sometimes alone after a run or some yard work or with my wife or friends in social settings. It does not make me depressed nor does it make me feel bad. Pains me to see how it affects so many adversely when this topic comes up - if it did that to me I'd certainly quit as well.

I was at a rehearsal dinner last night with old friends and found out that one of our friends got fired from work Friday for drinking a fifth of vodka during his work shift.

He’s at the point where it’s either sobriety or death. I hope he chooses wisely

Yeah, once it became a daily occurrence I had water bottles positioned everywhere. Always got rid of the evidence away from the house when filling up everything.

Literally a 2nd job.
