I usually go for "rare" cars and personalize them a bit because I don't like driving the same car as a million other people.
Agree with the prior Infiniti G37 suggestion, but get an S and not the base. My GF has one and it's an insanely good, fast car with great handling and comes well equipped.
I had a Volvo S60R for a long time and I deeply regret getting rid of it. It was a 300 HP AWD beast that got me many many compliments and never let me down once.
Alfa Romeo Giulia is the next underrated and "rare" big one that I'm thinking about getting. They're a little too expensive for my liking right now, waiting on them to go down probably $10k before making the move.
There are plenty of non-generic options out there that aren't soccer mom Accords, douchebag Camaros, or tiny penis BMWs.
