ESPN put $300M up for the Longhorn Network - a little $30M per year bonus for the athletic dept.
ESPN has bought college football. For those that complain about the lack of night games in Tiger Stadium, who controls the scheduling - ESPN.
The NCAA may govern the game, ESPN controls the purse strings.
