Like it's super embarrassing. I'll yawn 5-6 times in a minute or more. And it's not like I'm not getting enough sleep. I'm getting more than I was a few months ago. I really don't want to be unintentionally insulting someone. I can't even fake it. The yawns are hitting so hard my face starts squinching up trying to keep it in.

Spend less time in bed. No more than 7-8 hrs. Drink coffee.

Could be sleep apnea.

I have a coworker who does that, all the time... honestly it's a little off-putting. I don't necessarily think he's bored with what's going on, because it happens all the time, but it's still not a good look.

I hope you figure out a solution.

Even more sleep on weeknights? Caffeine?

ETA: "Could be sleep apnea."

Absolutely could be a cause, you might be sleeping plenty but not getting enough of the "good" sleep.

Doesn't mean a thing if you aren't getting into REM sleep. Do you fall asleep easily while watching TV or reading? How about while driving and stopping at a red light?

I do wake up multiple times a night but that's because I'm so paranoid about missing work that I think my damn brain sets alarms.

Maybe get into a routine where you masturbate four times a day. Try it.

Are you normally a mouth breather? If so, do you also normally take shallow breaths? Yawning is your body's way of telling you need more oxygen in your system.

yawning is a lack of oxygen to your brain so my guess would be something to do with sleep apnea
