How do you know there was not a fire? A mechanical issue? A medical emergency with the pilot?
Right.
Just take a lap, bro. You're getting entirely too worked up about this.

That is why you have highly trained crash investigators with virtually unlimited government resources.
In a high profile case like this they will pull out all the stops.
This is a 747 that exploded over the ocean and the pieces went down in hundreds of feet of water. They brought it up and put it back together. Then figured out what went wrong (not pilot error).
So, yes. I am going to believe the assumptions of a bunch of ignorant jackasses with a keyboard and a fresh hotpocket from Mom's microwave.
that 747 crash (TWA 800) had aviation enthusiasts crying conspiracy. Many accused the military of shooting it down. The NTSB did an amazing job reconstructing the aircraft. They used an old Grumman Airplane hanger in Calverton, NY
On July 17, 1996, TWA Flight 800, a 747-100 bound for Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, exploded during its climb from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York, killing all 230 people aboard. A spark from a wire in the center fuel tank caused the explosion, although several alternative theories have persisted. Changes in fuel tank management were adopted after the crash.
Aircraft exploding in mid-flight would generally assume was not pilot error. The conditions of the Kobe crash blaringly point towards PE

Rocket Surgeon seems pretty invested in this.

Here you go.
You professionals let the NTSB know what your investigation has concluded.

I didn't need to contact them. They called me... I sent it to voicemail and called them back. Didn't want to interupt my phone call with your wife

I saw today on the news today the helicopter DID NOT have a terrain warning system. Knowing your aircraft and any potential safety weaknesses seems to be common sense. i'm sure the pilot attempted such but had somehow not thought of the hills
Okay.
Scratch my previous post about judgements. I did not know that about no terrain gear.
Attempting VFR flight with zero visibility at low altitude in dynamic terrain and no collision avoidance gear?
He done fricked up.
The report is going to be trying to rationalize what the frick could have been going through his head.
Rocket Surgeon, feel free to melt. I’m not budging in the absence of new data.

I started to merge in traffic and almost hit a car ( blind spot) once and the guy just went hyper- psycho full rage stalker screamy mode . Dude, I’m conscientious and an excellent driver- but sometimes humans make mistakes. We are seriously flawed beings. We make mistakes. Sometimes fatal mistakes.

You should go visit some of the aviation forums. You will have a field day with those guys.

I think it was spatial disorientation, but I don't know all the facts. Sounds like the a possible "graveyard spiral." He was in a turn potentially in VMC. Entered IMC, rolled out but his brain told him he was turning the other direction, over corrected the other direction. Too low to recover and hit the ground in a dive at over 5,000 fpm decent rate.
But there are plenty of other things that could have contributed or caused the accident. I originally thought it was a CFT (controlled flight into terrain) but with the airspeed and decent rate numbers, there was something else happening (i.e. spatial disorientation or severe mechanical failure).
doubtful

Are you professionally retarded? I haven't made any conclusions. I only stated that's the only fact is that the helicopter crashed.
More facts might come out later, but saying anything right now is speculation.
Like I said, take a lap. You're emotional like a little girl and it's clouding your ability to have a rational discussion.

You must be the one she was telling me about.
Said some guy with a low IQ and a tiny dick had been calling and sending her pics.

STFU, and close the investigation.
The NTSB is waiting on your file.
Thanks for saving us taxpayers the money. Most of all. Thanks for saving the families the pain of a long, drawn out crash investigation.
You are a scholar and a gentleman.

My suspicion is this was not the worst conditions this pilot has flown in (especially with Bryant on board)

The final report came out as mechanical failure when after refueling and climbing to their designated altitude, the tail rotor broke and hit the main rotor causing the bird to crash and burn. He and another crew member were killed and miraculously the 3rd crew member survived being thrown almost 200 ft. from the crash site.
It's too early to point fingers as to the reason the copter crashed.
Jeez. How bad was the survivor injured?
