I-20 driver said man got in her car, exposed self, asked for 'help'

A Monroe man is facing charges after he allegedly flagged a woman down on Interstate 20 and performed an obscene action in her car.

According to an arrest report for Harold Walters, age 49, Martha Drive, deputies were dispatched to Exit 103, Calhoun, on July 4 regarding a possible sex crime.

When deputies arrived, a woman said Walters, who was in another vehicle, motioned for her to pull over to the side of the road several times. She started to think something was wrong with her vehicle and did.

Per the report, the suspect climbed in the passenger side of her vehicle and said he motioned for her to pull over because she had pretty legs.

The victim told deputies she freaked out, and the suspect put his hands on her leg and pushed her shorts up, asking to see her underwear.

According to the affidavit, she refused, and the suspect reportedly pulled out his penis and asked if the victim could help him out.

When the victim started screaming, the suspect reportedly said it was a big misunderstanding and left.

Deputies located the suspect at his home. He said he pulled over on the side of the road but denied ever touching the victim or pulling out his penis.

Per the report, the suspect said the woman motioned for him to pull over, and he thought he was going to hook up with the victim.
