Out of curiosity, why are you travelling to a campground in Vidor right now? Seems like the absolute worst place to be headed

How are things in SW LA? Looks like it rained all night and still coming down. They flooded a few weeks ago with Barry.

eh, haven't been enjoying it for a while being forced away from my wife and kids.. ring6 to move out here but now after 2 years I'm close to being back on the ground as a conductor. it's not a bad job but the lifestyle sucks.

I’m in LCH this morning and streets are ok for now. No guarantees later if rain continues through the day.

had a good friend who worked for the RR and lived in Forest, MS. His hours weren't exactly normal. Not sure I would enjoy that either.

but he took more time off than anyone I've ever seen.

they'll let you join. Just get a boat and ask them. You might get on TV too.

I'm good. Seriously though, flooding again for this part of the world really sucks. They had the sabine river/toledo rain event in 2016, Harvey in 2017. They've had more than their share.

I’m stuck in Beaumont. Roads are flooded. Have seen many 18 wheelers under water
