I-10 in New Orleans shut down again Eastbound from Bullard to Paris Rd--Another Shooting

Portion of I-10 closed Thursday afternoon as NOPD investigates man's shooting
The nonprofit ProjectNOLA has reported that the shooting occurred while the man was driving on I-10 between Bullard Avenue and I-510 in New Orleans East.
New Orleans police confirmed they received a call of gunshots fired at mile marker 246 on I-10 near the Little Woods exit, but they have not said whether the gunshots are connected to the man who showed up to the hospital.
If the report of gunshots fired on I-10 near Little Woods is related to the hospitalized man, it would be at least the eighth shooting with an I-10 address this year, which isn't halfway over yet, according to data from local crime statistics analyst Jeff Asher. There were 12 such shootings in 2016, Asher said.

What a shite show. NOLA East used to be nice. My folks moved to MS in 1991 after 2 stolen cars and a purse snatching at the Plaza.

Stray bullets blew out the back windshield of this Hummer. UGA mom was driving the car on I-10 when another car was lit up with gunshots.

Its 20 now because it hasn't been updated since that was from the shooting on I-10 & Poydras Tuesday night.
