this means a thunderstorm with some wind would be in the forecast

You guys on Tiger Rant are god damn idiots for wishing this to hit Gainesville... it's moving closer and closer to hitting Louisiana instead.
Dumb is dumb.
This storm is so new though, tough to really know what it's going to do... could move north very slowly for all we know... but I do know it's going to interrupt LSU fans heading back from Gainesville.

I'm here as well. Just because storms forcat tracks drift from their pri in all projected path. Some times west, some times east.

Euro or GFS
My recollection is that Euro nailed Harvey. Right?

Euro into LA as a strong TS/Cat 1 hurricane. Huge win for the GFS

Wow. New Euro is now aligning with the GFS. That ridge over Florida appears to have won the push.

Judging by this looks like it would make a landfall in Plaquemines parish.

So we're gonna get a tropical storm Saturday or Sunday in New Orleans? I guess Cruisin the Coast is out

GeauxMedic doesn't sleep!
NHC didn't catch the new Euro run I guess.

Next advisory with a new track won't come out until 4am central time.

of course the one time GFS wants to be right is the time it smacks right into SE Louisiana
might need to break out some big fans to blow this one away

We're still a few days out. A lot can and probably will change.
