Dominica is going to need help, they don't have another island to go to like the people of Barbuda unless another nation takes them in.

Joey said it just made landfall in Dominica. I hope other countries adopt them as you said!

People are crying for help and a number of police officers have been injured and are begging for help. Tremendous amount of destruction throughout the island.

I'm genuinely surprised they've got a live radio station still up. 160 mph winds and they're still getting out a signal.

4 major hurricanes that eventually make landfall..... First time since 2004? Bonnie, Charlie, Francis, and Ivan?

ETA: Not necessarily in the States. Just landfall anywhere

Adrian Harewood?
@CBCAdrianH
Report that building near to #DBS Radio #Dominica collapsed and part of that structure ended up in the #DBS newsroom. #HurricaneMaria

I guess this is why the station is only playing music now because the building collapsed where the guy was broadcasting from.

Try this shortwave station below instead.

It's always amazing to me how unstressful these island people seem when they are at their most stressed out state.
