Check out that low tide in Naples due to the north wind. That's got to look pretty crazy in person.

Thank you. We just tied down our little tree in the front. We are getting some nasty gusts right now. Street is flooding. Woosah...

I'm seriously concerned for your safety. You haven't even begun to see the worse of this

Jeff is literally talking about that right now.

He is seeing the sandbars where there should be right now

Which means all that fricking water is gonna come back in with zero fricks to give.

He was in some hotel last night. I am not sure if it is on Marcos Island or back in Naples?

I am not sure he will be able to cross any bridge at this point. Maybe idk.

He is a crazy mother fricker.

What kind of car does Jeff have? Is it something similar to those tornado storm chasers.

No idea, but I am 100% certain he is not riding out this storm at his current position. There is like ZERO cover.

I'm not happy about the cost of an unnecessary evacuation.

That's a choice each person or family has to make for themselves. Even in mandatory evacuations, I don't think they usually physically come and make you leave. It's just that if you stay they are telling you that there may be no governmental services for you, even emergency ones. It's on you how much of a chance you want to take with your lives and the lives of your loved ones. They can only give you their best estimates of the chances you are taking based on the info and technology available.

Where about do you live and when was the evac called?

There is a periscope from the Keys right now caked "we should have left" and they are taking on water in a very bad way.

I'm pretty sure it's the goal of the weather Channel to have one of their reporters die on air.

He would legitimately drown. Marco Island will be way under water.
