Human Psychology Board. You don’t have to be attached to your anger.

All you high flyers get this. You can stop reading. This is for the rest of us who struggle with the simple things.
Here is how it works imho . Something angers you , some injustice, some indignity . You mull it over . You revisit it, you relive it , you nurture your anger like it is growing in your garden . This much is universal.
Here is where the successful people that have already checked out of this thread separate themselves from the unsuccessful people. The next thing is you make a ruling on your anger. You decide to either discard the anger and just let it go or you make a final decision to further attach yourself to the anger. The anger now becomes part of you . You have now normalized your psychological negativity and allowed it to become part of you . You are now as attached to your anger as any other aspect of your personality. You are the anger.
To master your emotions- Recognize how your emotions are betraying and manipulating you. Ask yourself if you want to attach yourself to this specific anger or not. When you feel this way literally ask yourself “ am I becoming attached to this anger ? And why am I becoming attached to this anger ? “ Would it not be better to just let it go, to achieve your personal Zen, to radiate calm and peace by recognizing just how your own emotions are playing you?

Are you sitting in a bean bag chair naked eating Cheetos ?

This wasn’t as deep as you thought it was.

No it’s not deep . It’s the opposite of deep . It’s just a simple home remedy. Just because it comes easy to you doesn’t mean it comes easy to most.

This is part of becoming more emotionally intelligent. When we see/hear something happen, it is processed through the emotional part of out brain first. That means our initial reaction is strictly based on emotion.
You have to practice allowing yourself to pause a second and then take a deep breath. From there, you will be able to better gather your thoughts and make a more rational reaction.

Your feigned humility is pissing me off.
