They come in steel toe?

I guess you've never had wet feet on a boat.

Some of you simply try too hard.

Perfect for cool to somewhat cold days on the boat. Otherwise I'm barefoot.

You city baws sure do like to make fun of practical things. Bet you dumbass wears cotton socks in 10 degree weather and then complain about feet sweating and being cold.

Those are for people who charter 1 or 2 trips a year and want to look the part as they fish live shrimp under their cork

I've never worn these shoes but I also don't GAF if anyone does or start threads about it.

I don’t care if they do either. It’s just perplexing to me people will spend $100 when they can get a rubber boot for $20 if they need it. It’s their right and god bless them but it’s just hard for me to fathom

Yeah and that's a really dumb idea on a boat. Go get a treble hook or catfish spine in the foot and tell me how that works out for ya

When it’s cold it’s wool socks and a $15 pair of rubber boots

I have the Xtratuf boots like this and they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. The noise they make when you put your foot in them is also very satisfying.

Kinda looks like the boots I wear on the boat

I do have some similar for 2 reasons. I fish year round even when it's cold as heck and I also fish by myself 75% of the time which means solo launching and trailering. It's easy to get your feet wet in the cold when launching solo.

What’s wrong with these though for $20?
Or hell, even these are only $29 from academy
People are free to spend their money how they want. But I am of the opinion of you spend $100 on something where you can spend far less to do the exact same thing, you are buying it for fashion and not fishing. Which is absolutely fine
