They screwed up my Homestead Exemption so have to get that fixed here in H-town. $3k difference they screwed up.

My property tax bill is down $423 but homeonwers and flood insurance up $900. So I'm a net loser.

I personally like Conroe more than the others.

I don't consider Conroe a suburb, it was a city before all of the suburbs around Houston took off.

Now it's a suburb, but it has way more identity than others.

That is awful. I live in East Feliciana and pay:

$250 for my house on 4 acres;
$20 for 89 acres undeveloped;
$2 for a 4 acre tract joining my homestead 4 acres.

Property values are sky high right now.
