A couple of years ago guys on the OT would brag about partying with pain pills. You dont see that any more. They must have either wised up or OD'd. This shite has been around long enough and the consequences are well enough known that it's hard to feel sympathy for anyone getting involved with it at this point. Certainly anyone as smart as the guy in the OP should have known better.

I imagine you see less of that because paid meds are much harder to get nowadays.

By and large I haven’t you’re right, but there’s much less Percocets and much more Tramadol being prescribed. I’m sure there are pills still floating around but I’d imagine they’re more difficult to find. Back when I was in college it seemed to be the heyday of pain meds and they were all over the place.
