What's crazy is, with a wedge, it's like throwing darts. For some reason, i can chip very very well.

Sounds like your grip is too weak. You want both v's(thumb crease) to point at your right shoulder. you'll hook it at first, but that probably means your setup is incorrect. If that's not the case then make sure you're swinging in a full arc around your body and not trying to hit the ball.

About to pick up golf again. Can anyone link a solid lefty set that won't break the bank. Somewhere around the $500-600 range.

When I worked at Beaver Creek 12 years ago I was as low as 15 at one point. Then college and real life happened but I can finally get back into it. I played Greystone for the first time ever about 2 month ago after not playing in almost a year and shot 105. I parred a few holes but totally ruined others. No mulligans. I've played a few more times since then and my play is already much more consistent especially with my irons and around the green. I have some work to do with my drives though. I'm working on my game and needed some newer equipment.

ETA: Just did the numbers... currently 21 handicap. Not even ashamed.

Tee to green is not a problem. Most par 5's I am there in 2, its the next 5 that hurt.

Just looked up greystone. For not having played it before and just picking the sticks back up that's not bad at all. You can cut a 20 handicap down pretty quick. It's the last 4-6 that's tough.

My saving grace was that I paired up with a couple guys who knew the course well. It wasn't easy from the tips though. I'm hoping to be down to 12-15 by the end of summer. What's great is that I could win a ton of money with my handicap right now.

You sandbagging frick.
You're a prime candidate for an arse whooping in the parking lot in front of your wife and kids.

Blame the courses for always marking the Par 5s in the top 5 HCP. So dumb.
