I enjoyed it. As someone else said, being able to hang out with little kangaroos is sweet. My buddy's wife got him a sloth meet and greet for his bday last month, and he said that it was cool.

There are way better things to do downtown - bars, food, museums, etc.

Gonna be in Nashville in May. Not a country music fan, so what would you recommend?

Going to Nashville this weekend for a wedding and I think we are going to check out the zoo

Skip the zoo, I'm sure they will have several wildebeest in the wedding party to ogle.

Not anything that will blow your mind, but the Parthenon in Centennial Park is just a short ride from downtown and is a full-scale replica of the Parthenon in Greece.

When we went a couple of years ago, took a few hours to go walk around Vanderbilt campus and see the Parthenon.

Audubon Zoo is great.

Baton Rouge not so much but has potential with the newer otter exhibits.

You could actually just skip the zoo and go to Radnor Lake. Its like a Disney movie out there with all the cool wildlife. Turkey, deer, owls, snakes, bald eagles, giant snapping turtles, etc. You are guaranteed to see some cool shite there. Its very pretty too. Nice trail that goes around the entire lake, and several trails that go up and down and along the ridges and hills.

Shelby Bottoms also has great wildlife. I've gotten within 10 feet of monster bucks out there before.

Memphis Zoo is much better.

It’s seriously phenomenal and consistently rated one of the best Zoos in the country. They also put on great events for stuff like Halloween and Christmas.

Free for Shelby County residents on Tuesdays during the summer. We bring little Cotten Jr. all the time. The walking path around the golf course through the woods next to the zoo is beautiful as well.

It's ok at best. Never been a fan of the way it's setup.
