I'd support his decision but I would hope he gets sent somewhere out of town so I'm not forced to go to church every Sunday and holy day of obligation. I make it most Sundays, but some of those holy days of obligation just aren't happening

I believe CNN did a show on how young Mid-western farm kids are becoming priests. There is a shortage of priests still, but it is back to medieval logic. The first son gets the dwindling family farm and the second son, limited on options looks at the priesthood. Not to say that is the reason, but many kids are actually rebelling against the current culture and this is something that they embrace. I believe they did a story on a set of twins who were 20 years old, overseeing two parishes and still helping on the farm.
