re: How Would You Rate Your Classical Education?

Sorry, that part was unnecessary. Yes, I think a classical education can be a great start and foundation to provide, and it makes a more well rounded person intellectually. My point is that, especially in this modern world, one must have the want and desire to learn and the discipline to expand their education.
I listen to history and literature podcasts all day because my grandfather taught me that a day I don’t learn something new is a wasted day.

I’m not trying to come off as haughty. I am not some ivory tower academic looking down my nose. I’m blue collar. I’ve worked in the dirt and paid my dues. a learned man is that way because he wants to be. And that can’t be taught
