I like hearing stories from the guys that were from nothing who got to these big numbers.

The majority of millionaires are self-made. The drive to get there from scratch is just awesome to hear about.

Now, making it then having 2, 3, 4, 5 kids go to university and carry on the same kind of ideology is a whole other level.

If you have kids that put in the work, you most likely have 4-6 401Ks building at the same time you are alive. Can you imagine the wealth a family can build?

Its really sick.

It's not a vacation home if it's not in the Hamptons with a full staff.

Unless you have a specific reason to need a jet, like you need to be wheels up in a matter of hours at any given time, then you’re better off just chartering.

But rich people don’t always think rationally about things like that.

If you can get to a point where you can buy your kids or grandkids houses and have them pay you the points the bank is offering them everyone is making money. You raise their disposable income while bagging easy interest at almost zero risk.

The gift keeps on giving.

I have a friend that built a home in East Hampton for about $3.5 million, she didn't like the finished product so had it torn down and built new one for $8 million, this was almost 25 years ago, one of their neighbors is/was P Diddler

Idk we have one baby who is 9 months old.

My wife is a doctor and do the majority of the earning. She grew up wealthy but frugal so her lifestyle didn’t change much except vacations (we stayed at travel lodge till this past year).

It went from

68k
70k
72k
510k
560k
700k (her fixed contract ended and performance kicked in)

One thing I’ve noticed is high earners are just built different. The amount of focus they have is incredible (my sister in law and both brother in law are doctors all making $$$$). They aren’t your average baws and it’s super obvious. They are able to come down on a problem and relentless at resolving it while I just say whatever next.

I’m not talking about a house in the Hamptons, but also not talking about a hunting or lake shack.

We’re talking like Beach House or Ski Lodge. Think Seaside or Aspen or something similar.

I’m not gonna read what you put but nowadays the wealth rankings are

Musk, bezos etc

Someone on food stamps

Someone who makes less than 10 million a year (real poverty)

I feel like food stampers are richer than Elon and whatnot because he probably doesn’t eat lobster and steak every day

Ive been tempted to look at property in Argentina with Mililei in power.

I have not studied their real estate values but I can imagine they are very low now and on the rise.

Less than 1% of the US population makes 500k much less household income of 500k. So naturally 100% of the OT makes 500k or more

You want to invest in real estate in a country that’s gone through hyper inflation, its currency is valueless, and has no real economic path forward?

That’s also like a 20 hour flight away?

Good luck

If you really want to piss off the OT, tell them that the insurance industry has created more millionaires than any other industry in the world, including insurance agents and agency owners.

Yep, and everyone on the OT is also friends with multiple hundred millionaires and billionaires too.

At that level you’re in the .1-.01%
