You starting early for worst poster of the year?

My entire life growing up wasn't a doorbell, it was a knock, the door was opened and the people literally said "knock knock". That's how things were done with neighbors, friends and relatives. Yes, today it's tentative because people knock now with a text from the curb.

Very true. Back before great TV options and cell phones, Company was awesome. I remember one of my dads old buddy’s stopping by and anytime my mom left he would tell my dad and I a dirty joke which I would practice alone so I could tell my friends at school the next day.

Now, I am like who could this possibly be who didn’t text me that they were stopping by!?!?

That was hilarious and true. Nowadays when I get a call instead of a text I get nervous.

Sadly, its true. People used to always come for a visit. The moms usually didn't work so they had time to make a cake to have on hand. Now, everybody's so busy.
