EBay would limit my description on how many words. There is a lot of explaining when it comes to this one.

The third front axle housing is waiting to go under the Jeep right now.

Thinking about it, maybe I shouldn't be the one giving advice on fluid changes.

I would personally change the oil annually....

fuel system is too new to need servicing...basically, they will spray some carb cleaner in intake to clean out any carbon or varnish and put some additive in the fuel to dissolve any varnish in the injectors. there shouldn't be any varnish to remove in an engine that new...

I have never really heard of a brake fluid being changed...the system is sealed so unless the boot on the top of the master cylinder is bad, there shouldn't be moisture there. I would just look to see if it is dirty...dirty, change it...clear, leave it alone...

I asked if I "over-greased" the ring in pinion when the mechanic took the cover off.

He assured me that was not the case.

I have a Chevrolet truck that was bought new in 2002 has always sat outside. It has 250000 miles on it. I have never changed the brake fluid or transmission fluid for that matter. Zero problems.
As a matter of fact no vehicle on our farm has ever had the brake fluid changed.

I'm not a huge fan of changing transmission fluid. It generallly causes more problems than it helps. Unless you tow a lot in hot weather, then I'd change it per spec.

I guess I'm more particular about brakes. When I get in a jam I want them working as perfect as I can get them.

Look at the brake fluid if it is clear you are probably good. If it has water in it you will get discoloration.
