But many don't want to deal with the hassle nor the threat of punishment for not following the mandate.
How will a business be punished if a customer says they can’t wear a mask for an exemption spelled out in the order?

Well you’ve achieved it.

They won't.
It just adds more frustrations to their current long list of frustrations when dickbags come in and obviously lie about health conditions.
I, unlike most of y'all, just have an ounce of sympathy for business owners right now.
It's the equivalent of lying about your pet being a service animal so you can bring it everywhere IMO

Coincidence?
I think you’re too dumb to realize you didn’t actually say/imply anything here.

If you are in favor of any form of government mandated shutdown or mask requirement, then I would say an ounce is about right.

Govt: makes rule for businesses to follow
The OT hardos online: “you bet your arse I’m not going to follow this authoritarian rule, they won’t do shite if I walk in without a mask.”
The OT in person: “Excuse me, store manager, I have AIDS and can’t wear this mask.”

I've literally stated many times that I do not support the mandates or shutdowns
Stop doing the "oh you believe A, therefore you must believe B, C, and D" thing
It's really fricking dumb

I don't ever want to see a thread on the OT complaining about service animals ever again

They have to do the mental gymnastics to feel competent. They aren't capable of reasonable discussion

Hardly anyone does this.
Yet MANY are against the mask mandate.
You really can’t understand the difference?

There is no difference in the principle, the number isn't relevant

Explain the difference to me

You know better than most that principles on here are held based on convenience. “If it benefits me, I support it. If it annoys me, I don’t support it.”
Either that or the “they’ve done it for so long so now it’s epic when we flip it on them!”

Well, one literally restricts airflow and causes headaches for many people. That’s ONE reason. How many do you need?

Just tell SWB and JBE to get the frick out of your life.
They both need to worry about making NBR a thriving business area instead of worrying about people weaking a fricking mask over the flu bug.

The metaphor.
Oh sorry, I thought we were just naming literary devices.
