The root of almost all their problems is corruption. The resources are there, but being filtered to the few rich and powerful who are manipulating the system. Get rid of the corruption and most of the issues will be resolved.
We talking about Louisiana?
Had a flash of mad before it hit me how right this response was. Kudos, sir.

A concert featuring every band you can think of...broadcast it around the world. Call it something clever like Live Aid.

Your right. How about outfitting a boat to repatriate Africans back to the continent?
And give the boat some progressive pop-culture name. Something catchy.....like....
Black Star Liner.

Sub equatorial Africa is an amazing place. One must go there to fully appreciate it. There are bad places, like the Congo, but even Zimbabwe is a beautiful country. South Africa too.
We only felt uncomfortable twice, once when we encountered a military roadblock in Zimbabwe, but they just waved us right through. The customs office between Zimbabwe and Zambia was interesting because a bus of locals showed up right as we did and there were so many trying to break in line to get through and it took a while for us to clear customs.
If you can, go while all of the animals are still there.
There are several railroad trips I would love to take.
Imagine sitting on the back of a train as it crosses the plains of Africa.
Just look at what you can do if money is no hindrance
By the way, we crossed over from Zambia into Zimbabwe on that bridge they show alongside Victoria Falls. You can bungee jump from a place in the center of the bridge.

The " U N "...is a worthless organization...makes certain people 'feel good' about all their proclamations/initiatives and 3rd world 'improvements'....ALL of it amounting to a big fat NOTHING !
