Nah. The life cycle for those is longer than she was out.

She did have an open wound filled with maggots. She used gasoline to kill them.

But given many maggots actually promote healing in wounds, dunno if it’s was the right call.

The problem is that there are some that will exclusively eat dead flesh with high selectivity. And some that will eat anything.

If you consider 9 or 10% greater as "fairly equivalent", then sure. But I wouldn't want you calling in artillery support for me using meters as fairly equivalent to yards.
