How should I proceed?

Here's the story: Friday night I met up with some friends for a few drinks, and there was this girl that they had invited that was really cute. I asked my one friend about her, and he says she just got unengaged and probably not comfortable dating at the moment. He also said he was interested in her, because she's perfect. I told him okay I won't pursue it.
Well he proceeds to get sloppy drunk, and I sit back and watch this unfold. He's leaning all over her chair next to her, and she doesn't look interested at all. She talks to me a little bit and I casually chat with her. Well everyone splits up and I don't ask for her number, because I was trying to be respectful of my friend. She adds me on Facebook the next morning. Should I message her and see if she wants to meet up?
