re: How often do you wash your hair?

Washing my hair turns a 3 minute shower into a 4 minute shower. Why wouldn't I wash my hair? It helps me wake up in the morning, and I sweat all day. Probably 75% of the time, two showers are needed.
I understand girls not doing it every single day because it adds another 10 minutes to their shower, but it only adds 1 extra minute to mine, so IDGAF.

yeah it really cuts into my morning routine. Every other day is good for me.

Everyday, twice a day on afternoon workout days. Granted I shave my head with no guard now, so I just use bar soap. But even before, everyday. My hair gets greasy and it's noticeable that I haven't cleaned it after one day (when it was longer).
I can understand women with long hair, but the whole "you shouldn't wash everyday" doesn't apply to everyone. If I can tell your hair is greasing than a day that you did wash, then you should have washed.

My little sister has really long hair, and washes it every three days or when she's got plans to do something. I just sweat too much all day not to. At the end of the day, I can make a mohawk by running my fingers through my hair once. It'll stay in place until I do something else

How do you people go without showering everyday? That's disgusting.
Was seeing a girl and she wouldn't shower/bathe everyday. Sometimes if she wore a dress I could smell the vagina when I was sitting next to her.

That's the point. If you wash everyday, you have to keep washing everyday. If you wash every three days, your hair and scalp acclimate. Your hair is no different than a girl with longer hair. The difference is in the routine.

Usually twice a day during the week. Once in the morning before work and again before bed/after work.

Who said they don't shower daily?

Twice a day, morning and evening. I'm Italian, so I don't have to worry about my hair or skin drying out.

Every other day. Rinse on days not washing.

This is me. My hair is really long and washing it everyday dries out my scalp way too much.
People seem to get confused on this one though....just cause you don't wash your hair everyday...doesn't mean you don't shower everyday.

The real secret to great hair is to break away from the instructions on the shampoo bottle - that you have read while pooping when you've forgotten your phone outside.
This stays between us, but the trick is to lather, rinse, and NOT repeat.

It just takes her so long, she doesn't like doing it. Basically like a chore that takes an extra 45 minutes to an hour to complete

I've got a dry scalp and washing everyday was actually keeping it dry. Shampoo every three few days helps the natural oils in my hair to keep the scalp from being dry.
Eta: i shower everyday, sometimes twice a day, just don't wash my hair each time

In my experience, straight girls tend to worry about this more. The butch gals tend to just wet it and apply more pomade.

Well yeah, for a girl with long hair....once you wash it and get it wet...then you have to dry it. Most women blow dry their hair straight now....a process that can easily take 30 minutes.
I try to keep my hair pulled back at work so I can get away with letting my hair naturally dry and just pull it back in a bun for work. But any other time...it takes 45 minutes to blow dry my hair and then flat iron it straight. Naturally drying it when I can keeps my hair healthier as well cause I'm not heat styling it as much.
