Miscommunication is probably the main cause. Most women arent really good at taking it when they want it, they just expect the guy to always be trying.

My live in gf works mid shift. after a few days of not getting any i started jerking when I got home from work, id go to bed 10-1030 and shed get home around midnight. Id be too out of it to give it a try. Other day she told me shed bang me 3 times a day if Id let her.

I was just like thanks for telling me now instead of after you left me for some side D.

Now I make it a point to save the drive and im working on going to bed at a decent hour. the incentive gets me to wake the F up when she gets home

Nope. Basically it has to do with the reward circuitry in your brain. Porn/fapping is basically the “easy way” of activating those regions of the brain and if you do it too much, those regions become used to the quick rewards and less responsive to the “harder” route of initiating and having sex.
