Mine is a royal pain in the arse. It's a pair of filters in the center console, and the easiest way to change them would be if you could lie on your side. But who can lie on his side in the passenger footwell of a car? The door sill prevents that, so you wind up having to contort yourself uncomfortably. Forget it if you're old or fat. So far, in 8 years and 80,000 miles, I've only changed it once.

I do it about once per year...but I live in one of the most pollen polluted areas in the country. I have used the Fram Fresh Breeze with activated carbon and baking soda.

I think the help changes their cabin filters every year.

A soiled cabin filter is my reminder to buy the new model.

Like every 6 months. It's $15 and 5 minutes to do yourself.
