Standing still, screeching. WTF?

Can you imagine something like that in combat?

I did a detailed rewatch. The first dog, Baby, set the whole thing in motion. The lady was okay at first but when the deer (understandably) knocked the dog off she freaked over the dog. She didn’t see Baby run off under the car and thought she was still in danger or hurt, so she went at the deer, pretty brave but dumb.

Important to note, the deer was just “butting” Wanda away not trying to impale her (look how slow he’s pushing, check a YT video for deer in rut to see a forceful full body antler attack).

Husband was brave too and handled up on deer for a second then realized what a bad idea it was. All in all, it was Baby’s fricking fault, everyone else was just reacting kinda in shock and trying to defend and/or diffuse the situation after the initial contact.
The other dogs were pretty worthless adding zero assistance although one could argue that would have just escalated things and they were also trying to diffuse it maybe even attract his attention away, but I mean towards the former.
Stupid Baby.

He just didn’t wanna be fricked with And the screamer did actually frick around and find out.
To be fair, she was originally just trying to save the dog, who really started it.
