I know mattresses can cost a fortune depending on what you buy. What do you guys have and how much did you spend? I think people are dumb for spending thousands of dollars on mattresses when you can buy a normal mattress/ box springs for under $1,000 and buy a 2 inch memory foam mattress topper. I think a quality mattress topper from Kohls with 30% off coupon, or on sale at other places is comfortable enough. Beats spending $6,000 like my friends spend. And you don't have to worry about stains

I haven't a clue. I'll ask my interior decorator and get back to you.

A more expensive bed will be exponentially more comfortable than a regular bed with a cheap topper. They cost more for a reason.

Around $4500. Tempurpedic breeze. Best sleep ever.

Go to sleep like the dead. It's the best site to research and decide.

$2600 + tax roughly for a king Sealy Posturpedic memory foam mattress, box springs, mattress protector, and frame. Mattress has a 10 year warranty that includes full replacement if it ever starts to sink or develop a rut.

The memory foam toppers wear out pretty quickly and don't provide the same kind of support and comfort. If it's something that you sleep on every single day and can have a huge effect on your overall health/comfort, why would you not want to invest in that? It breaks down to roughly $290 a year/$25 a month, which isn't bad for something you use every single day.

Mattress in a box. Got a Layla. $800 for a king. So far so good. Free returns (they’ll send someone to pick it up) and a lifetime warranty. These memory foam mattresses in a box are changing the game.

Got a Tempurpedic about 3 months ago and had to get rid of it. I hated it. Only kept it that long because Mrs. JFT loved.

Replaced with some Sealy what was about 1/5 the price and love it. Think the mattress was right around $1,000 for king

Dream Bed Lux
$3,000 OTD for king size, box springs, mattress cover and two $165 pillows.

Best nights sleep I've ever had. I never realized how crappy my other mattress was until I got this new one.
