I feel like this is one of those things I didn't think twice about before getting a smart watch. For some reference this is what my watch says is 94%/"Excellent".
Last night (out of 8:02) :
Awake 0:19
REM 1:50
Light 3:28
Deep 2:25
Dang, my deep sleep is like 20-60 min per night? What are doing to get than much deep?

If you can't sleep, due to very little REM sleep, you can try:
Gardening At Night
Night Swimming
or you just may be....
Feeling Gravity's Pull
Low
but, by all means...
Please Don't Go TO Rockville
Try Not To Beathe

My deep sleep is seldom over 1 hour. I usually sleep 6-7 hours though. My REM is comparable to yours but deep is usually something like 45-50 minutes

I got an hour and nine minutes last night. I average only 37 minutes though according to my IWatch.

Its 5 hours a night and that is all that its ever going to be until it is 24 hours a night
Try this
Before bed, have a tablespoon of honey.
Your body might be having a drop in glucose in the middle of the night which causes your body to make up for that with a rise in cortisol which wakes you up with mind racing etc. the honey could help delay glucose drop and keep you asleep
