How Much Of Their Life Do HS & College Aged Kids Video/Post On SM?

This weekend I was talking to someone who is a teacher at a school where there are college students near and she was telling me that college students are fricking weird. They evidently record everything and that the teachers complain because when they take the students somewhere in a school bus, all of a sudden college students that are around will just start recording the bus passing by.
That seems weird as shite. But she says thats how it is. Any little thing and they all have their phones out recording. I knew to some degree they would do this, but from the way she described it, its over the top. Just everyday shite could be going on and in any given second there they are with their phones recording it..

Been this way tor years.
I can remember being a uniformed cop in Tigerland circa 2010 or so when smart phones really started taking off.
When it was time to physically start clearing the parking lots full of intoxicated idiots the phone spot lights everywhere recording would make us feel like rockstars surrounded by the paparazzi.

My kid sister (no pics) is one of these types. All about the snapchat and insta. So dramatic and self-centered. The world and my parents' rules are out to destroy her self-existence.
Most of these college kids are majoring in general studies or sociology and sleep until 11AM daily. Life is that phone and only what they care about.

Yeh that seems to be the case with basically every younger person and even many older people. I'm glad I at least had a decade and a half with out readily accessible internet access. I can't imagine being a child in today's day and age.
