How does never sound? I make low end of six-figures....and no, I don't feel rich....at all. I don't need millions of dollars to feel rich. I am content with life, but I am always striving for more; this does not mean making more. In fact, there are a couple of things that I want to do, and I would not be making anything close to what I am making now. I know someone who makes seven figures, and is the most unhappy person I know. When I thought about crossing over into the six-figure range, I realized that it isn't really that much.

My first job out of school I was making $50k. I felt rich. Had no kids.

Now I have kids and live in an expensive city.

Wife and I both make a lot more, but we don’t feel rich.

Right out of school was probably the highlight. I still love a paycheck every couple weeks...never gets old

Blessed that I have not had to face financial difficulties to this day. I could make my current salary for the rest of my life and support myself and a family without trouble.

After college. I would order two zaxby sauces. Ballar. I had no clue what was ahead with a wife and kids.

I’ve never felt rich... i make in the low six figures, wife almost the same.. I dont live paycheck to paycheck and i feel like i could (hopefully) weather a storm or two if need be, but nowhere near rich... i do have a really clear idea though, of exactly the moment when i will feel, if not rich— then very comfortable... that is the day that i’m able to retire.. not that i *will* retire, but being able to work because i *want* to, and not because i *have* to is the day i will feel rich in my own mind.

$150/night in tips waiting tables in Orange Beach the summer before my Junior year at AU. I think that I personally financed the new deck at the Flora Bama in 1994.
