How much money is inconsequential to you?

If you saw a little charity event outside a store you were going to, you didn't really care about the cause too much but you wanted to help, what's the most you would donate before you said "I can't really spend that amount of money on this"

Depends on the charity, but I'll drop 20 to 50 on em if I'm feeling ok that day

I donate to a set few charities regularly, but not often to a random one outside of a store that I don't care about. I'll give $20 to the little leaguers trying to pay for a travel weekend though.

I'll drop $1,000 on a charity with no problem. However, I'm picking which one and I'm passing up the scam artist outside of a store begging for money.

I don't generally give to charities. I got my own kids to take care of. I'd rather spend any extra money on them.

Maybe I couldn't come up with the best example, the question I was trying to get across was how much money could you part with for little to no benefit for yourself.
Like let's say the guy in front of you at the store is short on his bill, how much would you help him out?

You want charity money.....catch me when I'm drunk. I'm a millionaire when I'm drunk. I think I donated like $800 to the ALS foundation when the Ice Bucket Challenge was going on, because I had just finished off a bottle of wine. I gave a homeless hipster girl like $50 on Bourbon St. the other day, because she had a dog that looked like mine. Wedding bartenders make bank after I get a few drinks in me (like I went to a wedding with $100 the other day and woke up with nothing). I'm not trying to be some show off douche when I'm doing it either. There's usually nobody around who would notice. I just have a terrible problem of not caring how much I spend when I'm hammered. It's literally the complete opposite when I'm sober

ETA: I will never donate to a charity to a "foundation" or large organization for two reasons:
1) There's a good chance whoever is collecting is just pocketing the money.
2) If they aren't, it is going to a foundation which is using 99% of donations to pay their own administrative costs, before notifying the press and making the token minimum donation which allows them to keep their tax-free status.
I'd sooner give $10 to a guy looking for his next fix than the Susan G. Komen foundation. At least the former is pitiful and actually needs help. The latter capitalizes off of tragedy and exists for the sole purpose of self-promotion and funneling money to the top dogs of the organization.

Outside the store, I will pick up a couple of cans of corn, green beens, etc. I don't give them any money. Someone mentioned little leaguers taking up money to pay for a weekend...I would not give them anything either. If they were washing vehicles or actually doing something productive to raise money, then I'd go for that.
