Enough to do most of what I want to do. Not enough to do everything I want to do.

I am happy with me and the SO each making low 6 figures, no kids, no debt besides the mortgage.

My job is a good balance between pay and stress. I keep getting encouraged to go into management and I keep pushing back

I'm not good with politics and bullshite. The extra pay doesn't seem worth the extra stress to me yet

I've been in my field for almost 20 years now and I'm still not sure if I'm management material. I kind of like doing my job and being left alone otherwise.

Im not happy unless I'm running the place. I can see operations in 3D and it makes me miserable to see other people trying to make things work. I'm happier pulling the strings. Luckily I'm at a place of low stress, leave it at work that I enjoy the hell out of. I like the people I work with and it's a fantastic situation

I've made more money working elsewhere but at this point in my life I don't need stress.

That's where I was two years ago. Took the plunge and hated it. Did a complete career change two years ago and struck out on my own.

Start a new job Monday that gives me $11,000 more a year take home.

More wants you add in the little perks.

I'm a technical person. I can get immersed in a single project for months. I'm in a quasi leadership role now but don't deal with the day to day management bs. Not sure that I ever want to either.
