make per each ticket? How much do they get from the seller and buyer? Do they really need to charge such huge fees for every single sporting, comedian, concert event? I would love to know how much they pull in on a single day. I'm guessing they make 40 percent off of every sale. Tickets are outrageous as they are, and then you have to pay a huge fee on top of it. The fees stop me from going to many events. You would think that a new ticket website would come out where they charge half the cost of fees and lure more people to them

Depends, of course, but about $3.50 on average.

I just wish they would put the damn fees into the price you see from the start

About 20% and they double dip from both the buyer and seller based on my rudimentary math.

Ticketmaster has agreements with arenas, promotors, etc. The others are after market companies. A new start up isn't going to gain any ground with say selling new tickets to the Stones at MSG - you name it. Money talks and the consumers pay it. The ONLY way that changes is if people don't but the tickets but you and I know that will not happen.

There is a popular cover band that comes a couple times a year, and I go at least once.
Ticketmaster makes 100% off the price of the tickets.

Stubhub has that option. Just change the filter to show the estimated fees in your search.

If you use any of those services, you are retarded.
They charge fee's for the buyer, per ticket, and charge per ticket fees for premium games, on top of the per ticket charge.
tickpick charges ZERO fees. i don't know how many times i have to tell you homos about the site, so you stop paying those shitbag companies who try to stick it up the buyers arse.
Not our fault those derelict companies paid the Sports Leagues to be a major sponsor, their fault, not mine.
Charging the buyer fees is 1990ish.
