From what I understand, BR water doesn't check your meter every month. They take one reading 3-4 times a year and estimate your bill based on that reading for every month. I think you can request they come out and re-check your meter.

Sewage portion of the bill was $21.63 last month. Iberia Parish.

In EBR compare water usage with sewer number. If sewer is higher you are getting screwed.

REFUSE - $77.25
COMPOST - $45.90
SERVICE CHARGE - $15.00
