I am thinking if i declare bankruptcy and wait 7 years it will wear off.
Can't do that with student loans or else everybody would do it...like they used to in the early 70s.
But you can put it off forever...

73k. And I had a full ride. Both times
Meh. Not a big deal.
I've considered tapping my savings and paying in full, but I don't really give a shite about it.
Only money.

140k....med school....will be paying for a while....that's with a rural medicine scholarship
Obviously tuition is stupid these days, but in today's world, this is acceptable.
Do they even have full ride grad school scholarships?

naw. full tuition was like $18-20k. state school baw
it's only like 22k per year today
i did have living expenses. i could have worked and graduated with less debt but law school was the best 3 years of my life and was really a foundational shift in my life so i have no ragerts
i'm very pleased to have lived pretty Spartan since and had some financial windfalls that have allowed me to pay off chunks over time. it was like 65-70k when i got out and it's over 50% done 9 years out (on a 30 year repayment plan)

I have over $60K left from Law School. I qualify for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness. They will be forgiven in less than 2 years.

My parents actually paid my tuition. Call them and see if you can extend the term way out to like 15-20 years
