Right at 4K. I told myself that I wasn't going over $1500. I'm older then most on here with two grandkids ....did you spend more or less then you wanted?

Got my old lady a new car and a bunch of blood diamonds because commercials told me I’m a shitty spouse if I don’t.

On a related note, I’m now 80k in debt.

I buy only for my sisters and mother. Spent about $750 total. My normal amount for the three of them.

Not sure. We sat down to wrap gifts and didn’t realize how much we’d gotten. My niece racked up this year. Her favorites are her Kindle fire and her swing set.

She thinks everything is from Santa. We told her the wrapped gifts were from us. She said, “No. Santa brings the gifts”. So we just went with it.

No kids and not married. Just parents and 3 nephews. $800 to $1200.

About 600 this year, all on kids.

Gift giving is out of control.

~$150 for my kid
~$200 for family
~$150 for a big family dinner at my house
~$100 for random outings
